The Rolex Date is the sister model to the Datejust. Its production began in the late 1950s, around the time the stainless steel Datejust was introduced.
The date model is offered in 3 material styles: stainless steel, yellow gold & steel, and all yellow gold.
The mens Date model is 2mm smaller than the mens Datejust. The ladies Date model is the same size as the ladies Datejust. The midsize Date is the same size as the midsize Datejust.
